Brain Symposium Presentation

Here is the presentation I used for the talk last week. I think it went okay, although it was too theoretical for some and too technical for others. I was hopeful that if they left with anything they started thinking deeply about the notion presented in Carol Dweck's research about malleable intelligence. I think of all the amazing things that I learned last year, this notion may be one of the most transformative in terms of how I think about teaching and learning. All kids can learn, it is up to us to set up the situations that best facilitate their learning.
